The trackers, which collect data about how you interact with a site, includes a mix of good and bad actors. In Microsoft Edge, you get to decide how much free rein web trackers have while you're surfing. While nothing is 100 percent secure, Microsoft is doing its part to push its Edge browser closer to absolute security through tracking prevention and a so-called SmartScreen tool. If the deployment options meet your requirements, click Done.Hackers will always target web browsers and I don't expect that will ever change. For this example, select All Computers from the TARGET COMPUTERS drop-down list and then click Save.Īt this point you can review the Microsoft Edge deployment policy. You can manage the scope of the deployment based on computers or users. On the New Policy page, select the Scope tab. The following screenshot uses "Each computer's default distribution point" and "Install" as an example. On the New Policy page, uUse the drop-down lists to select the DISTRIBUTION POINT and ACTION to take for the policy. For this example, the package is "MicrosoftEdgeBeta" in the following screenshot. The package that you added shows on the Packages pane. On the Configure Packages popup, click Configure. (In the following example, the event is Startup.)
